Edwina Medeiros, 83, of Pawtucket, passed peacefully on October 20th, 2024 in North Providence. Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Manuel and Maria Jacinta (Tavares) Pimentel.

Edwina was an incredibly special woman who epitomized the Portuguese culture and who was loved by all who knew her. Her family and friends will always remember her for her kindheartedness and loyalty to those she loved.

She is survived by husband Joseph Medeiros; sons John Medeiros and wife Arlene, Robert Medeiros and wife Michelle, grandchildren Kaitlyn, John, Jayden, Javen, and Jewel; two siblings, Pedro Pimentel and wife Ana, Zulmira Machado and husband Joseph.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, October 24th from 4:00 – 7:00pm at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, RI. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 32 Lawn Avenue, Pawtucket, RI, Friday, October 25th at 10:00am. Burial will follow at Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery.
