Lucien Pine Jr, 92, passed away on October 28th, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.Born on May 23, 1932, in Pawtucket, RI, where he has resided most of his life, living in the Pine family home. He was the son of the late Lucien and Laura Pine.

Lucien was an Airman in the US Air Force, serving during the Korean War, with the 762nd Aircraft Control and Warning Squadron. He was always proud to be a veteran.

Lucien was at his best in the kitchen, working as a chef for over 50 years. Among his greatest accomplishments were his two restaurants, Lucien’s Restaurant and Lounge and the King of Clubs. Lucien was a master cake decorator, attending the Wilton School of cake decorating in Chicago, where he further perfected his skills.

Lucien cherished spending time with family, he will always be remembered for his unannounced drop ins and lengthy entertaining debates. He is remembered as the loving father of Bryan Pine of Pawtucket, RI, and Sheree Pine of Cranston, RI; devoted grandfather to Brittany, Brieana, and Joshua; Proud great grandfather to Milani, Keira, Thomas, Quinn, and Cody. Brother of Dolores Adams of Idaho, Nancy Burke of Mississippi, and the late Arthur Pine, Alfred Pine, Pearl Drew, and Beverly Goodwin. He also leaves behind many adored nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Calling Hours on Wednesday, November 6th from 9am-11am with a funeral home service starting at 11am. Military honors will be held in the funeral home parking lot starting at 11:30am. Burial private.
