The Robinson, Crayton, Gildersleeve and Draper families give glory to God as they announce the peaceful homegoing of their matriarch Mrs. Minerva Sarah Crayton Robinson at 91 years old, on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at Roger Williams Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island.

Mama, Aunty CeCe, Cousin Minerva, CeCe, as she was affectionately called, leaves to cherish her memory her loving children Jacqueline Robinson-Phillips (Anthony), Philomena Robinson and Judy Cole; grandchildren George Papie Doe, Zeline Brock, Wendell Phillips, Philyne Brock, Sando Roberts, and Dorieder Phillips; several great grandchildren; her sister-in-law Grace Lardner Crayton; nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends in the United States, Liberia, Ghana and Australia.

She was predeceased by her parents Joseph R. Crayton Sr. and Zeline M. Crayton; her beloved husband Philip Fanieh Robinson; her son Robert Wayne Brock; and her siblings Emma Susan Crayton, Stephen Crayton, Janet Crayton and Joseph R. Crayton, Jr.

May the soul of our dearest mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, cousin and friend rest in perfect peace. CeCe’s memories will be cherished forever. Lord, now lettest thy servant depart in peace, according to your word.
