Anselmo T. Araujo, 83, of West Warwick, passed away on March 7, 2025, at Kent Hospital. Born in Brava, Cape Verde to the late Andriano and Jovina (Pinheiro) Araujo. He was the loving husband to Dolores (Monteiro) Araujo.

He is survived by his son Elden Araujo, a granddaughter Victoria Araujo, siblings Olganda Pinheiro, Raquel Anahory, Adna Pereira, Luis Araujo, John Araujo, Abener Araujo, Anselmo Joviano Araujo and many nieces and nephews. He was the father to the late Dean and Brian Araujo.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 4pm-7pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave. Lincoln. His funeral will be Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 8:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at the Bethany Church of Nazarene, 1275 Pawtucket Ave. East Providence, RI at 10am. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
