John J. Lomba, 61, passed away on March 26th, 2025, at UM Upper Chesapeake hospital in Maryland. Born in Jersey City, NJ. He was the son of Carlos Lomba Sr. and Elizabeth (Moniz) Lomba and loving husband to Supornpit “Heidi” Suwansompong.

John proudly served in the U.S Navy for 12 years as a submarine technician and highly enjoyed riding under the water in submarines. Later in life, John was employed as an Electrical Engineer at York Container and Bopat. He was an avid rescuer of dogs and cats.

He is survived by his daughter Emelia Lomba, 2 brothers David Lomba and Robert Lomba, a sister Laura James, 4 nieces, 4 nephews and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his brother Carlos Lomba Jr.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2025, from 4pm-7pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave. Lincoln. His funeral will be Friday, April 4th, 2025, starting at the Keefe Funeral Home at 8:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Jude Church, 301 Front St. Lincoln at 10am. Burial will be in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
