William H. Nixon III, 69, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, March 26th at the RI Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Nancy (Bloomer) Nixon for 52 years. Born on October 5, 1955, he was the son of Norma (Jencks) Doeg and the late William H Nixon Jr. Bill (17 )and Nancy (18) were married February 16, 1973 and began a beautiful family.

He last worked at Durastone Corporation until he was injured in 1991. He spent many years as a stay at home Dad and had many medical issues. He adored both of our daughters and was so blessed to watch them grow to be wonderful women and build their own families.

His passion was riding his 1984 Kawasaki Ninja but his true love was his Las Vegas Raiders. He was almost as crazy as the fans you see in the stands. Those left to cherish his memories are his wife Nancy, daughter Jennifer and her husband Donald Paradis, (who he loved like the son we never had) of Cumberland. Our daughter Billie-Jo Nixon and Rick Hill of Coldwater, MS, his brothers Stephen (Cindi), John ( Lillian), Sean, Ryan (Jacquline), sister Terri (Steve), 5 nieces and 4 nephews and his fur baby Chewy who had the same day as Bill.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 2pm-5pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave. Lincoln. Burial private.
