Pedro F. (Onildo) Duarte,59, of Pawtucket,RI, a beloved father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend left this world on 05/09/2025 in Providence, RI. Surrounded by the love of his family.

Pedro was born in Angola to Matilde F. Duarte and the late Jose P. Duarte on 10/19/1965. He traveled to Cabo Verde 1975 where he resided until 1999 and then immigrated to the United States where he resised. Pedro worked as a laborer for most of his life, but his true passion was fishing and spending times with his many nieces, nephews and friends.

Pedro is survived by partner Debbie Childress of Pawtucket. His daughter Adelina Duarte-Semedo and her husband Silvino Semedo. His son’s Luis Pedro ( Onildinho) Duarte, Sidney (Chidy) Duarte and Elton Kevin Duarte. His 10 Grandchildren Nehemiah Duarte,Nathen Duarte, Savion Semedo, Simone Semedo, Mauricio Duarte ,Mauro Duarte, Nickson Duarte, Leticia Duarte, Laissa Duarte e Kevin Duarte. His siblings Ilidio Duarte, Daniel Duarte, Orlando Duarte, Ana Duarte and Adelino Duarte. Many nieces and nephews whom he loved and adored. He is preceded by his father Jose P. Duarte, his son’s Adilson Duarte and Oldair Duarte, his bother’s Manuel Duarte and Junior Duarte.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15 from 4pm-7pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave. Lincoln. His funeral will begin Friday, May 16th at 9am at the Keefe Funeral Home followed by a funeral home service at 10am. Burial will be in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
