Brenda L. Haley (Rockett), 70, formerly of Pawtucket, RI, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 12, leaving behind a legacy of love and joy. She is now reunited with her late husband, James M. Haley, with whom she shared 32 wonderful years.

Born in Attleboro, MA, Brenda was the daughter of the late Edward Rockett and Ann (Bilsborough) Nisil. She grew up in North Attleboro but spent most of her adult life in Pawtucket, RI.

Brenda was a devoted mother to her daughter Jocelyn Haley and her late son, James M. Haley Jr. She was a beloved mother-in-law to Adam Diiorio and Sarah (Berns) Haley, and a cherished grandmother to her five grandchildren: Destiny, Myles, James, Violet, and Olivia. She is also survived by her sisters Barbara Dowdall, Pam Rice, and Melissa Jacques, as well as her sisters-in-laws Saundra Sage, Susan Haley, and Helen Rockett, and her brothers-in-laws Charles Haley and Edward Dowdall, along with many nieces and nephews. Brenda was preceded in death by her siblings, Edward Rockett and Shirley Barker.

Brenda had a passion for helping others, which she demonstrated through her dedicated work at the MS Dream Center for many years, a place that held a special place in her heart. Her positive energy and compassionate nature touched many lives.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the MS Dream Center, 300 Toll Gate Rd., Warwick, RI 02886, in her memory, continuing Brenda's legacy of giving and support.

A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date to honor this remarkable woman.
