Adelia M. (Dee) Soares, 61, of Lincoln, Rhode Island passed away peacefully on May 28, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Dee was born in Obidos, Portugal to the late Luis and Angelina Louro. She was a devoted and cherished wife to Jose H. Soares. Dee was a dedicated employee at Amica for 19 years, where she found her long life bestfriends.

Dee is survived by her children Lisa Soares and Derek Soares, siblings Marie DaSilva (Guilherme) and Joseph Louro (Laura) and a large extended family. Dee will be remembered by her strength, her kind heart, her joy in helping others and her love for her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 10am at St. Jude Church, 301 Front St. Lincoln. Please meet directly at church. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's research Hospital in Dee's memory.
