"Slim" 86, passed July 6, 2011 at the Miriam Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of the late Ella E. (Parker) Duphily.
He was the son of the late Origene and Marie Rose (Bonin) Duphily.
Slim had been employed by Miriam Hospital for many years retiring in 1987.
He was a member of the Forand Manor Association, an avid card player, a sports enthusiast and enjoyed his time with the grandchildren.
He is survived by two sons, Ronald Duphily of Everett, MA and Thomas Duphily of Cumberland, three daughters, Roxanne Bertrand of Central Falls, Linda Perron of Central Falls and Debra Archetto of North Scituate, two sisters, Aurette Stumm and Doris Castilloux, 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late George Duphily and companion of the late Edith Rattray.
A funeral service will be held Monday at 10am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited, calling hours will be held Sunday from 5 to 8pm
