"Quinzinho" 27, passed August 19, 2011 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born in Brava, Cape Verde Island, a son of Joaquim Goncalves and Benvida Da Cruz. He was the longtime companion of Angela "Angie" Gonsalves. He had been employed as a landscaper for many years.
Besides his parents he is survived by a daughter, Janaya Goncalves, a son, Joaquim F. Goncalves, five sisters, Aquila Santos, Genia Goncalves, Zica Goncalves, Minga Goncalves and Cici Goncalves, a brother, Jorge Goncalves, a step daughter, Traelyn Flanagan and many nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St Anthony Church, Lawn Ave, Pawtucket at 10am. Burial will be in Mt St Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours will be held Tuesday 6 to 9 pm.
