Born in St. Antone, Cape Verde Island, he was a son of the late John and Camila (Paris) Daluz.
Tony had worked at Ciba-Geigy Corp, of Cranston for 25 years before retiring in 1986. He was a WWII Army Veteran.
Tony enjoyed Golfing, loved the Red Sox and was a baseball card collector for many years.
He is survived by a daughter, Christine M. "Nina" Daluz of Pawtucket, two sons, Antonio J. Daluz Jr. of Providence and Robert J. Daluz of Pawtucket, three sisters, Alice Daluz and Antonette Almeida both of Providence, and Theresa Saunders of Philadelphia, PA, a brother, John A. Daluz of North Providence, seven grandchildren, Hayley, Robert Jr, Robyn, Megan, Jennifer, Kenny Daluz and Jandi Costa, three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Mary Daluz Waters and Joseph J. Daluz.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Name of Jesus Church, 99 Camp St, Providence at 11am.
Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited, calling hours will be held Friday from 4 to 7pm.
