Wayne was the son of the late Valentino and Dorothy (Santos) Freeman.
He had been employed by the Peter Karen Company, School House Candy and Providence Metalizing for many years.
He is survived by 4 sons, Wayne, Rory, Derrick and Mark Freeman, 3 daughters, Rhonda Viveiros, Tisha Rodrigues and Tonya Freeman, 5 sisters, Shirley Jackson, Geraldine DiPina, Carol Monterio, Virginia Neves and Robin Rogers, 3 brothers Ronald, Valentino "Sonny" and Barry Freeman and many grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Tammy Freeman.
Calling hours will be held Saturday from 2 to 5pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be private.
