He had served as a First Lieutenant in the Laos Military. He was an avid soccer player, enjoyed feeding birds, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. Amphone was the oldest of 5 brothers and 4 sisters.
Besides his wife he is survived by 5 children, Kesone, Souksakhone, Chanthanom, Amphayvonh "John" and Phonephet, 4 granddaughters, 6 grandsons and a great grandchild.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 8am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Cremation will follow in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited, calling hours will be held Friday from 5 to 8pm.
