80, of Pond St, died Wednesday at the Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of Apriljo (Morais) Briggs. They have been married for married for 54 years.
Born in Oxford, MA, a son of the late Alfred C. and Lillian F. (Peters) Briggs.
He had been employed by Whitins Machine Works for many years before retiring.
He was a Korean War Veteran.
Besides his wife he is survived by fours sons, Daniel A. Briggs of Southbridge, MA, Timothy J. Briggs of Illinois, Keith A. Briggs of Worcester, MA, and Christopher Myslinski of Springfield, MA. Two sisters, Bertha Wing and June Harris, a brother, Robert Briggs and six grandchildren.
He was the father of the late Mary L. Briggs and brother of the late John H. Briggs. Services will be private.
