"El Mono" 54, passed unexpectedly on March 6th. He was the husband of Consuelo Correa. They recently celebrated their 31st anniversary.
Born in Barranquilla, Colombia, a son of the late Gloria M. Tamayo Cuello.
He had been employed as an electrician and also worked in various other construction trades.
Besides his wife, he is survived by 3 sons, Orlando M. Correa Ramirez and his wife Blyndis Maria Correa, Kevin L. Correa Ramirez and his fiance Karla V. Marchan and Anthony M. Correa Ramirez, a sister, Isabel Segunda Vargas Tamayo, two granddaughters, Lyndis and Valentina Correa.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 8:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Spirit Parish, Dexter St, Central Falls at 9:30am. Burial will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Friday from 5 to 8pm.
