"Djidjinho" 79, passed June 2nd at home. He was the husband of the late Maria (Moniz) DaGraca.
Born in Brava, Cape Verde, he was a son of the late Manuel Goncalves and Carlotina DaGraca.
Djidjinho had been employed by American Insulated Wire for over 30 years.
He was the father of seven, Daniel DaGraca, Dolores Baptista, Adozinda Mason,
Jose Mendes, Kelli Mujo, Timmy Pfefferle and Penny Baez . He is also survived by eleven siblings, ILda DaSilva, Auxilia DaRosa, Abel DeBarros, John T, Jose M, John G, Augusto, Manuel, Jose G, Ana, and Ida Goncalves, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Julia Lopes, Viriato Goncalves, Alice Gomes, Antonio DaGraca, Gabriel Gomes, Vitoria Gomes and Rita Goncalves.
Family and friends will gather starting at 9am Thursday with a funeral service at 10am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be in Mt Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 5 to 8pm.
