"Alice" 82, passed peacefully surrounded by her dedicated family on June 14th. She was the loving wife of the late Albert Rapoza and John F. Linehan Jr.
Born in Cambridge, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Agnes (Woods) Comfort.
In addition to spending time with her family, she also enjoyed working in her yard, cultivating her flowers, knitting, reading, mystery videos and sitting on the beach in Florida.
She is survived by five daughters, Arlene Frazier and her husband Dave of Lincoln, Roberta Reynolds and her husband Brian and Diane O'Connor and her husband Paul all of Cumberland, Christine Eno and her husband Mark of N.H., and Paula Dacus and her husband Kirk of Dighton, MA, a sister, Diane Wesson, of Peabody, MA, a brother, William Comfort of N.H., 14 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Alice was the step mother of John Linehan III, Daniel M. and George T. Linehan, Catherine McEvilly and Margaret Seekamp. She was the sister of the late James and Charles Comfort and step mother of the late Michael Linehan.
Her funeral and visitation will be held Monday, relatives and friends may call starting at 8am at the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Jude Church, Front St, Lincoln at 10am. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St, Providence, RI 02904.
