"Bill", BS, BA and MPA, passed June 17th. He served God and Country by a life of public service and good will. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late William H. Woodcock Sr. and Janet (Andrews) Woodcock.
He had been an Administrative Assistant to several Governors, served as acting director of the former Ladd School and had also been a former Personnel Director for the City of Pawtucket. Bill served with US Navy Reserve.
He is survived by a brother, David J. Woodcock and his wife Kathleen of Pawtucket and several nieces. He was the brother of the late Everett, Warren, Arthur and Barbara Woodcock.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 6 to 8pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln followed by a service at 8pm. Burial will be private in Swan Point Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to AmeriCares, 88 Hamilton Ave, Stanford, CT, 06902.
