Born in Brava, Cape Verde, a son of Etelvina Gomes Pereira of Cape Verde and the
late Victor de Brito.
Besides his wife he is survived by 3 sons, John Brito, Francisco Brito and Joao Gomes, two daughters, Anabela Brito and Melissa Brito, 6 grandchildren, Jordan, and J`von DeBrito and Giovanni and Jayden Pastor, and Leila and Leidyannie Goncalves, 12 siblings, Eugenia Felicidade de Brito, Joao Pereira, Domingas DaGracia, Aguinelo, Verginia, Olavo, Daniel, Edgar, Joaquim, Alicia, Joao, Julia Gomes Pereira and many brother and sister in laws.
His funeral will be held Monday at 10am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Edward Church, Weeden St, Pawtucket at 11am. Burial will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 6 to 9pm.
