Inez A. Lopes, 95, passed July 22nd at the Evergreen House.
Born in West Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Augusto and Anna (Monteiro)Gomes. She had been employed by the Outlet Company of Providence for 22 years. Inez was a member of the Cape Verdean Club, of East Providence and the Womens Guild.
She is survived by a daughter, Lisa C. Harden and her husband Alfred of East Providence, a grandson, Tyler J. Harden of East Providence, a sister, Irene Grace of Burlington, MA. She was the sister of the late Grace Soares.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 8am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St Francis Xavier Church, North Carpenter St, East Providence, at 10am. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
