48, passed away on August 13th. Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, he was the son of Herondina Ponte and the late Gilberto Ponte. He was the husband of Lucy Ponte of Rumford. He also leaves behind a daughter, Kristina Arruda of Pawtucket and a son, Brian Ponte of Rumford. He is also survived by two sisters, Teresinha Taylor of North Providence, and Helena Ponte of Pawtucket and 7 nieces and nephews. He enjoyed spending time at the farm. Prior to that he was a baker for 20 plus years at Dunkin Donuts. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 10:00 am at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will follow. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, August 22nd from 6 to 8pm.
