Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Albertine (Labrie) Vigeant.
She had been employed as the Office Manager for Dr. Ronchese for over 40 years.
She was a former member of the Golden Agers, the former Central Falls Community Center, the Alumni Association of St. Xavier Academy and was also a lifelong Communicant of Saint Matthew Church.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Jeanne was the sister of the late Marthe Lapierre and Henry Vigeant.
Her funeral will be held Thursday at 8:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Spirit Parish, (St. Matthew Church) Dexter St, Central Falls at 9:30am.Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 5 to 7pm. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the Holy Spirit Parish Building Fund, 1030 Dexter St, Central Falls, RI 02863 or to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St, Providence, 02904.
