99, passed on November 6th at home. He was the husband of the late Maria F. "Pomba" DeBrito. Born September 6, 1913 in Brava, Cape Verde, he was a son of the late Manuel and Joaquina (Gomes) De Brito.
Damiao is survived by five sons, Joao F. DeBrito, Joaquim F. DeBrito, Jose DeBrito, Edward DeBrito and Joao DeBrito, and a daughter, Constanca Fernandes, ten grandchildren, Annmarie DeBrito, Kevin DeBrito, Janice DeBrito, Wilson DeBrito, Jaquelina DeBrito, Ashley Fernandes, Vanda DeBrito, Jenae Fernandes, Edward DeBrito and Sanaiha Fernandes, and five great grandchildren. He was the father of the late Cesar DeBrito.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 8am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, High St, Pawtucket at 10am. Graveside Burial will be held in Mt St Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Friday from 5 to 8pm
