88, passed December 26th at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Maria Alice Correia. They have been married for 67 years.
Born in Cedros Faial, Azores. He was a son of the late Manuel D. and Francisca E. (Dutra) Correia.
Besides his wife he is survived by a son, Manuel D. Correia and wife Fatima of East Providence, a daughter, Mary Correia, a sister, Ana Goulart, three grandchildren, Lori Correia, Antonio J. Cordeiro III, and Nancy Cordeiro Martins, five great grandchildren, Nicholas, Sophia, Logan, Elisa and Aliyah and many nieces and nephews. Antonio was the youngest of ten children.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis Xavier Church, 81 North Carpenter St, East Providence at 11am. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Relatives and friends invited. Calling hours will be held Friday from 4 to 7pm
