59, passed away at home unexpectedly. He was born in Pawtucket and was the beloved son of the late Doreen (Collier) and Kenneth G. Smith. He attended St. Raphael Academy. Bruce spent his career working at Robat Floor Covering in North Providence.
He was an avid reader and accomplished writer. He enjoyed gardening, collecting fine art, and was an exceptional cook. He was loved, adored, and cared for by family and friends.
He is survived by four brothers, Kenneth, Stephen, Craig, and Mark, and a sister, Pamela. He also leaves 10 nieces and nephews as well as nine grand-nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Saturday in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, RI. Relatives and friends are invited, visitation will start at 1pm.
