She was predeceased by her late husband, Ozzie Holland, parents Valentine Fermino/Freeman and Dominga Fortes, 13 siblings, and 1 grandchild. She is survived by two daughters, Carole Monteiro of Providence and Sharon Andrade Gonsalves of Florida/Georgia,5 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
