94,died Tuesday, February 4,at her home on Hobson Ave., East Providence. She was born in
Camden, NJ, a daughter of the late Rev. Chester C. Bayard and Eva Bayard. Evelyn was the former wife of the late Daniel
Romie MacKenzie and Rev. Prince A. Hamilton, now living in Atlanta, GA.She leaves two daughters, Valarie Romona MacKenzie of East
Providence, RI and Antoinette (Toni) Holt of Atlanta, GA and a son-in-law, Alphonso Holt also of Atlanta,GA. Evelyn Hamilton received her nursing degree in Camden, NJ. She worked as a registered nurse until she retired.
Evelyn was a life long member of Macedonia U.A.M.E. Church,
and Mother of the Church. She served in many capacities,
especially in the Sisterhood Society and the Missionary Society.Evelyn is also survived by her sister, Katherine (Happy) Colburn
Of Blackwood, NJ, Ada Bayard of Camden, NJ, a grand, a great-grand, And a great-great-grand child, five generations of nieces, nephews,
