55, of Lonsdale Ave, died Thursday at the Memorial Hospital, Pawtucket. He was the husband of Fabiola Puerta.
Born in Colombia, a son of Bernarda Ardila Puerta of Colombia and the late Fernando Puerta.
He had been employed by the Prout School of Wakefield for ten years.
Besides his wife and mother he is survived by a daughter, Ludey Ivoni Puerta of Pawtucket and a son Juan Puerta of Central Falls. And a granddaughter, Shamadi Ortiz Ramiro was one of ten children. All his siblings reside in Colombia.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Relatives and friends invited, Calling hours Monday 5-8pm. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Boulevard, Suite 3009, Warwick RI 02886.
