90, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Mount St Rita Health Centre in the presence of her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent H. Keough who died in 1993. They were married May 15, 1955. Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Farjallah and Effifie (Kabbaze) Demty.
Antoinette lived her entire life in Central Falls. A wife and mother first and foremost, Antoinette lived her life with fierce determination and sense of humor. Her smile showed her generous, loving heart. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her beloved children, Sandra and husband Siegfried Szurley of Smithfield, Kevin Keough and wife Jan of Cumberland, Russell Keough of Pawtucket, Thomas Keough and wife Sandra of CT and Stacy and husband Rick Kasold of FL. The grandchildren whom she adored, Jessica Keough and husband Mark J. Brewin, Jr. of NC, Katie and Andrew Szurley of Smithfield, Robert and Sarah Keough of CT, and Lauren and Jake Sadowski of FL. She was the sister of Olga (Ollie) Nicoletta, Mary Koussa, Joseph Demty and Samuel Demty as well as the sister of the late Sadie Jarjoura, Charles (Chick) Demty and Sippie Demty. She also leaves many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
The family wants to thank the caring and able staffs of Grandview Nursing Home, Mount St. Rita Health Centre and Home & Hospice Care of RI.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 9am. from the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Ave, Lincoln, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial in the Church of St. Basil the Great, Skyview Dr, Lincoln at 10am. Burial will be in St. Basil the Great Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Monday from 5 to 8pm.
