62, died peacefully surrounded by his family on July 24, 2013. He was the son of Agnes (Silva) Evans and the late Anthony Evans. Ken was a Providence Firefighter for many years and was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Besides his mother, he leaves a son, Derek Evans, a sister, Nancy Souza, three nieces, Christine Barrow, Rhonda Mitchell and Melissa Dossantos, a nephew, Craig Hindle, three great nephews and a great niece. He was the brother of the late Linda Evans Hindle. Burial with Military Honors was held Friday in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
