57, "Gugu" passed on September 13th at the Miriam Hospital.
Born in Fogo, Cape Verde, he was a son of the late Paulino Barbosa Vicente and Candida (Pires Gomes) Vicente of Central Falls.
He had worked for many years as a machine operator.
Besides his mother, Augusto is survived by many siblings, and other relatives and friends.
He was the brother of the late Jose Barbosa Vicente and Luis DePina. We will always remember Gugu as a loving, selfless, funny, and happy man. We would also like to thank the staff at the Miriam Hospital for providing the best care to Augusto.
His funeral will be held Tuesday at 8:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony Church, Lawn Ave, Pawtucket at 10am. Burial will be graveside in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Monday from 5 to 8pm.
