"Minai", 62, passed on October 9th. She was the wife of the late Emanuel Baptista Fonseca.
Born in Brava, Cape Verde, she was the daughter of the late Hipolito V. Fontes and Lucilia (DaLomba) Fontes of Pawtucket. She had been employed by Hasbro Industries for over 20 years.
Minai is survived by a daughter, Denise Fonseca, six brothers, Oliveiro Fontes, Hildeberto Fontes, Manuel Fontes, Samuel Fontes, Antonio Fontes and Helder Fontes, a sister, Maria Denis, all of Pawtucket, step siblings, Avilino Goncalves, Aristides Goncalves, David Goncalves, Autilio Baptista ,Virgilio Duarte and Dominga Fontes.
A funeral service will be held Monday at 10am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be in North Burial Ground, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 5 to 8pm.
