90, formerly of Cumberland and Pawtucket passed away peacefully, Sunday, October 13, 2013, at the Pawtucket Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. For 64 years, she was the beloved wife of the late Leo A. Gauthier who predeceased her in 2010. Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Albert Newsham and Mary St. Jean Newsham. She had worked for the former Lincoln Lanes bowling alley for many years. More importantly, she was a lifelong homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother, who was fiercely devoted to her family. She was cherished by her surviving family, daughter Janice Dorval and her husband, Charles, of Pawtucket, son Robert Gauthier and his wife, Tami, of Cumberland, 3 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
A mass of Christian burial will be held Friday at 10:00 AM at St. Margaret's Church in Rumford, RI. Entombment will be at RI Veteran's Cemetery in Exeter where she will be reunited with her husband and soul mate.
