Lincoln: Lewis Adrienne Young Lepore Linstrom, 73, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 19th at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence, RI after a long illness. Born in Malden Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Leon C. and Edna (Anderson) Young.
Her entire life was devoted to the arts. She was an accomplished concert pianist and later went on to study music therapy at The University of Boston and The New England Conservatory of Music. As a pioneer of her field, Lewis Adrienne began her career as the director of music therapy at the Connecticut Valley Hospital and went on to become a music therapist in the Providence school system, working with special needs children. In addition to her love of music, she was an avid photographer, gifted painter and admirer of anything creative. Those close to her knew her as a veracious collector of antiques, books, vintage postcards, and all things purple. Her greatest love was her cabin on Lake Winnipesaukee which was built by her parents in the early 1930s. She spent almost every summer swimming, boating, and gallivanting around the lake.
Lewis Adrienne was the loving mother of Karimah Tuqan Hernandez and Ariane Lepore and her husband Dennis Keaton. She was also the devoted and beloved grandmother of Alexiana Hernandez, Jacob Tracey and Drew Keaton.
