Born in Angola, he was a son of the late Paulo and Maria (Pereira) Gibau.
He is survived by two daughters, Maria Gibau and Cynthia Gibau, a son, Ivandro Gibau,
six brothers, Joao Brito, Mauricio Gibau, Joao Gibau, Jose Gibau, Paulo Gibau and Adalberto Gibau, four sisters, Margarida Almeida, Candida Cardoso, Julia Gibau and Magda Sequeira, a grandson and many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Eugenio Andrade.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 8:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Edward Church, Weeden St, Pawtucket at 10am. Burial will be in North Burial Ground, Providence. Calling hours will be held Friday from 5 to 8pm.
