70, formerly of Hazel St, and most recently of Kissimmee, FL, died unexpectedly Wednesday among friends in his retirement community, Solivita. He was the husband of Martha (Tattersall) Emond.
Born in Newport, he was the son of the late Roland and Alice (Loiselle) Emond, and brother of the late Alice Provost.
Eddy spent most of his life in R.I. His favorite times were enjoying his summer home at Johnson's Pond in Coventry with family and friends.
"Eddy" as he was called by many, worked in banking all his life where he developed many lifetime friendships. He was also an avid sports fan!
He is survived by his beloved sons, David S. Emond and his wife Jo-Ann of Seekonk, Matthew T. Emond of East Providence, and a stepson, Todd Osfield. Nothing gave him more joy than spending time with his grandchildren Marinna, Tanner, Arionna, Justin, Olivia & Phoebe. He was the former husband of Rachelle (Aubin) LaTaille.
