He is leaving behind his wife of 61 years, Ruth Gil, and his 14 children, Gonzalo Gil, Edmmanuel Gil, Robinson Gil, Jorge Gil, Nancy Cumplido, Genys Munoz, Duvis Estrada, Ana Munoz, Ruth Gil, Luis Alfredo Gil, Ruben Gil, Sila Gil, and Yadeira Gil. He will also be missed by his 28 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Gonzalo was a hard working man who dedicated 60 years of his life to the textile industry. The wake for Gonzalo Gil will be Sunday from 6:00-9:00 pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Avenue, Lincoln. His funeral will be held Monday at 8am in the Keefe Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Spirit Parish,Dexter Street, Central Falls, RI 02863 at 9:30am. Burial will be graveside in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
