"Bob" 76, passed December 16th at home with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Mae D. (White) Cummings. They have been married for 44 years.
Born in Attleboro, he was the son of the late Howard and Violet (Read) Cummings.
Bob had been employed as the manager of the Mutual Gas Station on Newport Ave, Pawtucket for many years. Robert enjoyed spending time with his family, watching stock racing and sports. Besides his wife, he is survived by five children, Robert A. Cummings Jr. and his wife Nancy of Florida, Philip M. Cummings of Johnston, Joyce M. Campbell of Cumberland, Joseph E. Cummings and his wife Kristen of Narragansett and Edward R. Cummings of Pawtucket, a brother, Winston Cummings of Phoenix, Arizona, ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was the father of the late Richard Cummings
Calling hours will be held Saturday from 2 to 4pm followed by a service at 4pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be private.
