91, passed peacefully at home on December 17th. She was the wife of the late Antonio D. Correia.
Born in Ribeira Funda, Cedros Faial, Azores on March 22, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Francisco da Rosa and Rosa Emilia Moitoso.
She is survived by a son, Manuel D. Correia and wife Fatima of East Providence, a daughter, Mary Correia with whom she resided, three grandchildren, Lori Correia, Antonio J. Cordeiro III, and Nancy Cordeiro Martins, and five great grandchildren, Nicholas, Sophia, Logan, Elisa and Aliyah.
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 8:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis Xavier Church, 81 North Carpenter St, East Providence at 10am. Burial will be at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Relatives and friends invited. Calling hours will be held Friday from 4 to 7pm.
