"Rick" age 54, passed on February 11th with his loving family by his side after a 2-year battle with cancer.
He was the son of Madeline (Costa) Ball and the late Richard F. Ball.
Rick was a 35 year employee of Scott Volkswagen where he was affectionately known as "Coach". He enjoyed camping, taking trips in his Winnebago, and going to Patriots games with his sons. He also enjoyed working on his many automotive projects and was a former Mud bogging champion. Cooking was another hobby and Rick was especially known for his famous grilled corned beef and cabbage. He also enjoyed walking and hanging out with his beloved dog Katie.
Rick is survived by three sons, Christopher Ball and his wife Valerie, William Ball and Michael Ball, a sister, Mary Searle, a brother, Robert Ball, his companion, Brenda Lee, and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life for "The World's Nicest Guy" will be held at a later date. Please contact family members for information.
