77, formerly of Morris Ave, and presently residing at Blackstone Falls, passed peacefully Tuesday with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of Frank Pluta; they have been married for 58 years.
Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Pacheco) Medeiros.
She had been employed by the former Pawtucket Dress Shop for many years than later worked at International Packaging.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Kevin Pluta of Cumberland, two sisters, Hilda Pimental of Pawtucket and Tillie Gibbons of Cumberland, two brothers, Anthony Medeiros of North Providence and Andy Medeiros of CT. She was the loving grandmother of Kaitlyn and Andrew. Mary was the sister of the late Edith Jorge.
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 8am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St Maria Goretti Church, Power Rd, Pawtucket at 9am. Relatives and friends are invited, calling hours Friday 4-7pm.
