88, passed on March 12th in Hialeah Gardens, FL. He was the husband of Blanca T. Bernier and the late Theresa (DeRoy) Bernier.
He was the son of Leo and Yvonne (Lacoste) Bernier.
Leonel had been employed by the Fram Corp. and Larry's Gulf, Lincoln for many years. He was an Army WWII Veteran.
He is also survived by five sons, Richard and his wife Jane, Ronald and his wife Sharon, Leonel Jr and his wife Roberta, Paul and his wife Christine, and Roger and his wife Carol Bernier, a daughter, Denise Nadeau and her husband Paul, a sister, Rita Jarest, nine grandchildren and a great grandson.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 9:30am in Holy Spirit Parish, Dexter St, Central Falls. Burial will be private. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 4 to 7pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln.
