Born in Flamengos, Faial, Azores, a daughter, of the late Manuel Silveira Gomes and Rosa Balbina, She is survived by her loving children, Ida Neves of Pawtucket, Clara Neves of California, Lucy Neves of Lincoln, Joseph Medeiros of California and Michael Medeiros, of Tiverton, a sister, Adelaide Ferro of Dartmouth, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Maria Soares and Olga Faria.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 8:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Francis Xavier Church, North Carpenter St, East Providence at 10am. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 3 to 6pm.
